Officials at St. Anthony Hospital are pleased to announce it has hired Steven Z. Taylor as its new Chief Financial Officer.

Taylor's credentials are top drawer, said St. Anthony Hospital President and CEO Jeffrey Drop. "We feel very fortunate to have Steven onboard," Drop said. "His 22 years experience as a senior manager in the healthcare services industry makes him a great addition to our team."

Taylor comes to St. Anthony after nine years as CFO at the Story County Hospital in Iowa, an acute and long-term care facility that included three physician clinics. Prior to that, he held senior management positions at both for-and non-profit healthcare facilities, including the Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center and the 21st Century Rehab, P.C. In 1988, Taylor worked as vice president of administrative services and CFO at the 189-bed acute care St. Vincent Memorial Hospital in Illinois.

Taylor has a bachelor's degree in zoology and MBA in marketing from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He is a member of the national industry organization Healthcare Financial Management.

He and his wife, Barbara are currently planning their move from Iowa to Pendleton; Taylor's first day at the hospital was May 2.

St. Anthony is a 49-bed, faith-based acute care hospital and healthcare campus serving the Pendleton area for more than 100 years and is committed to the highest quality of patient care and safety, and to strengthening our community through wellness education.
