Understanding grief will be the topic of "Helping Yourself Heal," a nine-week workshop beginning April 8 at the St. Anthony Hospital Healthcare Campus.
This small, informal support group will provide a time of comfort and sharing for people who are grieving the loss of someone they love, said Carolyn Featherston, program coordinator. The many common emotional and physical reactions that can occur shortly after a critical incident will be discussed, along with education on the ways to take care of oneself during this difficult time. A St. Anthony Hospital Hospice counselor and chaplain will facilitate the sessions.
Call the St. Anthony Hospital Healthcare Campus at 541.278.6571 to pre-register or for more information. A nine-week winter session is scheduled to begin Jan. 8, 2004, with a spring session beginning April 9, 2004.
