This month, the program will expand to Walker, MN, about 30 miles northeast of Park Rapids.

  • Jewish Hospital Honors 106-Year-Old Nurse

    In the 1940s, Willie Mena Jones-Glass made history when she became the first African American nurse hired at Jewish Hospital, Louisville, KY. Nurse Glass, now 106 years old, was born in Cameron, TX, and earned a nursing degree from Prairie View A&M University in 1936.
