PET/CT Scan

St. Anthony Hospital remains in the forefront of technology by featuring PET/CT scans in our imaging department. PET/CT has revolutionized cancer detection and decreased cancer recurrence and metastatic disease. It also helps distinguish inflammatory or infectious (benign) processes from cancer. By combining these two technologies, physicians can more accurately diagnose and identify cancer, heart disease and brain disorders.

PET/CT scan hours: Fridays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

64–slice CT Scanner

St. Anthony Hospital now features one of the latest cutting-edge diagnostic tools, the 64-slice CT scanner. This scanner is twice as fast as conventional multi-slice CT scanners, offers higher resolution and emits less radiation. This scanner leaves the hospital's old four-slice CT scanner in the dust and is the only 64-slice CT scanner in the area. A full body scan now takes about 10 seconds.
