Foundation Board of Directors
A diverse group of hospital, community and business leaders serve on the St. Anthony Hospital Foundation Board of Directors. The dedication of the board is why St. Anthony Hospital is able to fulfill its mission of offering compassionate and quality care.
Since 1992, the St. Anthony Hospital Foundation has given back more than $1,000,000 to the communities it serves. Through projects such as Hospice, which assists those approaching the end of their lives, and the Garrett Lee Smith Teen Suicide Center, for young people in our community who are having difficulty coping with issues in their lives, the Foundation has provided for the community. The Foundation has also placed AEDs (automatic emergency defibrillators) in many businesses and public places throughout the community.
In 2009, the Foundation was instrumental in helping St. Anthony Hospital improve its MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) system to ensure that patients get the highest-quality diagnostic images possible. The Cancer Clinic has also been a frequent recipient of Foundation support, including a $5,441 grant several years ago that added new chemotherapy chairs, needed equipment and renovations.
